National Recognition

American Cheese Society National Contest:
  • Our Crème Fraîche was awarded blue ribbons in the cultured products division at the American Cheese Society national contest in 2002, 2003 & 2004. It earned a second place ribbon (highest scoring Crème Fraîche) in 2000 and 2001.
  • 2005 San Andreas took 2nd place in Farmstead sheep category.
  • 2004 Pepato took 1st place in Farmstead sheep category.


National Association for the Specialty Food Trade
  • Bellwether’s Fromage Blanc was a finalist (top 7 out of 129 products) in the National Association For the Specialty Food Trade’s “Best New Product 2000” competition judged June 2000.
